as I could before doing any work around the house...The weather had been
real nice most of Jan with very little snow and temperatures sticking close to
the freezing mark.
I got myself a new bow as a gift to myself for the new job...I had a Hoyt which
wasnt a bad bow but it just wasnt performing like my 1st bow I got many years
back, a Bear. So after watching a couple of my hunting shows I really wanted to
try Mathews and Prime. Quiet was the big factor and even though these 2
were pretty close as quietness, the big determiner was weight. I could feel a
big difference in that and PRIME wont out. I love this bow and cant wait to
try it out this upcoming turkey season.
On the 23rd I went out to see the girls, Beck and Dusty. Mom and April went with me and boy
have they grown. We had a lot of fun.
The girls got a new puppy for Christmas and she is real good. Loves to sleep on Becks
furry shoes.
I was also able to give them my Christmas present which they love!
Before we left I was able to get a 4 generational picture.
In the fall my son in law started making customized cornhole boards. I wanted to
get a couple made for my cousins who are huge Cowboy fans and thought with all
the get togethers they have that they let me be apart of and for all the stuff they do
for me it would make a cool gift for them.
