Today was a busy day with my cousin coming in and
putting the new front windows and front door in.

By the end of the day both windows and front door were in.  They let in so much
more light now.

 I have placed a couple deer carcasses from roadkill for coyote bait
and here are some still of whats coming around.

The last few weeks Ive been putting some corn behind the house
to feed squirrels, turkeys and deer.  Ive been getting some deer coming
in the middle of the night but today they came out pretty early.

EXTRA

I was down in Dania Beach FL for Fire Fighting training and Becky posted
pictures of the girls learning CPR.  Too cute!  Frozen characters have been saved!!!

She also sent me a picture of the girls with their Christmas present.  Niecey
does pretty good.

A couple days later it appears that the girls have discovered how to get on
the computer and take pictures of themselves.

Today took me into the Master Bedroom to take down the ceiling.

Today was super busy.  I finished the living room ceiling.

Then moved to the dining room ceiling.

After that I went to the hallways.

And finally finished the day with pulling up the kitchen tile floor.  This tile can hide ANYTHING
that gets dropped on it.  Grandma lost so many things.  And so have I.

This morning I woke up to some new snow.  Not much, just
a couple inches.

I worked on the living room ceiling and got about 3/4 of it done.  Thanks to my little
cousin Carol who helped out.

I feel I found the reason for the roof leak.  Not sure if this means
I'll need to replace the whole roof or just part of it.  Its a small
section so may be easier to just do the whole thing.

I then went through today and put some temporary insulation in place just to keep
the cold out for now.

Today had me back in the den where I was taking down the ceiling in the
back section.  I discovered there was what appeared to be a bad section that
may have been from an old leak.

And as I went further the whole ceiling fell in and it ended up being filled in the rafters
with loose insulation.  What a mess!

It took a bit but I did get it all cleaned up.

Den ceilings are coming down.

I worked on the hallway and den sheetrock while the excavating
finished up.  How different it made everything look.

You dont realize how deep that valley was.

Stakes for thre new garage.  OH OH!  Looks like ill be getting more dirt moved.
Miscalculated how much room I needed to swing the truck in.  Already talked to the
excavator and he will come back to get it done in the near future as long as the weather
holds off.

Today had me taking more things down in th kitchen and
then moving back to the hallway and started taking down the
sheetrock there.

Excavating begins!  Only got half way done.

While this was going on I went back to the kitchen and worked more there.
